Who We Are
Upendo Destitute Children’s Home is a charitable organization dedicated to providing support and care for vulnerable children affected by adverse childhood experiences. It was originally founded in Kibera but later shifted to Zimmerman in 2021 due to a shelter collapse during heavy rain.
The name “Upendo” reflects the organization’s commitment to bringing love and mercy to former street children, helping them reintegrate into society and providing them with education and a nurturing environment.
